This undescribed deciduous terrestrial grows in the open eucalypt
forests around Brisbane. As it is so small, it is easily overlooked. The flower stem grows to
30cm with leaf to 28cm without a free tip. There are up to 12 flowers about
6mm tall and redish brown with hairy labellum.
This Genoplesium is similar to Genoplesium archeri
except the labellum is not oblong, has a turned up labellum tip and
upswept lateral sepals. |
