This terrestrial orchid grows in moist areas of open forests around Brisbane. It is locally common and
forms large colonies
of plants where the conditions are right.
The rosette has up to 6 stalked leaves to about 45mm by 20mm. The flower stem to about
25cm tall with the flower 20mm tall. The flower is translucent with green
and white stripes
and fawn towards the tip.
This species can be readily identified by its green and white flower with
a long fine labellum tip. |
