This terrestrial orchid grows in moist areas in the open forests around Brisbane. The rosette has up to 6 stalked leaves to about
45mm by 20mm. The flower stem is about 20cm tall with the flower 30mm tall. The flower is
green with white stripes and the labellum is distinctly forked at the tip.
This species can be identified by its green and white flowers with
forked labellum and dull green rosette. It is very similar to
Pterostylis collina,
but can be separated as the collina rosette has shiny green leaves. |
